One April evening in 2010 the idea came to be; let’s explore the world. Diarmuid and I were on the brink of finishing a Masters in Business Management in Dublin, a course which required practically 24/7 involvement and commitment. And on completion while 95% of our classmates spent their time job searching, we planned our future footsteps in both Asia and Australia. Diarmuid was as excited as a child on Christmas in the weeks coming up to our departure, I was a bit more anxious and apprehensive. But both of us would witness and experience things that would change our lives.

This blog was intended as a memoir to our travels, something that both of us can look back on years to come and smile at all the amazing things we’ve done. We would also hope that travelers will find it useful as a guide in what really stands out in Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Australia. Read away and enjoy.
